The bar, installed in the former aquarium of the National Museum of Natural History and opened to the public between 1934 & 1992, offers a wide menu to be discovered in a calm atmosphere.
The current Salon Charcot (formerly the restaurant) is located exactly where the office of Commander Charcot, a renowned polar explorer, used to be. A fresco of his expedition can be admired there, exhibited in his honour.
